What lights a child's fire? How do we keep our kids inspired...and what can “turn out” their light at school, and even at home? We explore the science, art and experience of inspiration, engagement and connection, and how each can spell the difference between despair and peace for our kids. We look at how and why our kids' light flickers in the face of anxiety, boredom, frustration, coercion, reward, punishment, and the burden of perfectionism. We’ll discuss how “relationship” provides a powerful roadmap for us to help our children thrive, not just survive in the world; and look at how modern brain science, relationship and learning combine to lead us to our fullest potential--right now.
